We muster twice a year on horseback 


Oakleigh is 75kms from the spectacular Copperfield Gorge, at the Einasleigh township.  Fishing, swimming and stunning scenery are a feature.

The local watering hole, the Einasleigh Hotel - popular gathering spot for locals.


Easter each year is the Einasleigh Races and Rodeo, a chance for locals to gather and socialise, young and old alike. It is a huge hit, with around 2000 people camping for the weekend. Dress up for the races, then tag along to the rodeo!

Bush racing is popular, with the annual Oak Park Races in July being another large social gathering.


The Oasis Roadhouse at the Lynd Junction, where fresh produce can be purchased fortnightly from the travelling greengrocer.
